Your Bare Bones Outbound Setup

the only things you truly NEED

I understand that a lot of B2B orgs do not want to go full GTM mode on their outbound and spend 4k on an agency, 2k on tech tools, and a whole bunch more.

If I was a sales leader and I wanted to outperform 90% of my competition on outbound, here are the only 3 things I would focus on to do so:

1. Use intent signals / relevant outbound

Instead of just creating campaigns and firing off to completely cold leads, use platforms that are designed to help you find "warm" or "relevant" contacts.

vector.co is great for analyzing web traffic and people who have already seen your site.
Trigify.io is great for analyzing social traffic and finding key accounts that have seen your content before.

This is an easy leg up you can have on your competition by leveraging relevant outreach.

2. Short and direct copy

The number of firms we work with that have shown me their previous outbound messaging that begins with:

"Hey name,

I'm Ryan from XYZ Corp and we can help you with your..."

If you can come up with copy variants for your offer / product / service that are < 100 words, and addresses:

- Why you're reaching out
- How you can help
- Proof of results

You will outperform 90% of companies and their sales teams right off the bat

3. Using up-to-date deliverability practices

Being the biggest "challenge" in the outbound space right now, proper deliverability will also catapult you ahead of so many outbound teams right now.

Use inbox resellers like premiuminboxes.com or ScaledMail.com for high quality and DFY setup, spread out volume across multiple inboxes, and DO NOT send anything from your main domain.

It might not be "easy" to have a killer outbound system that is consistently growing your sales pipeline, but it sure is simple.
