Why You Should Simplify Your Outbound Setup
something we're all guilty of
The pendulum of GTM / outbound “alpha” has completely swung the other way in recent weeks and some of the biggest names in the space are noticing it.
Workflow setups and the use of AI / automation on LinkedIn posts that you see have now become ridiculous and unnecessary for about 98% of revenue teams.
Being someone that still uses a lot of this tech and has some crazy workflows in action…
Simplicity will win every time.
You need:
A good email sequencer (Bison, Smartlead, Instantly)
A database to pull data from (Apollo, Listkit, etc.)
A good email finder / verifier (Leadmagic, Millionverifier)
A way to enrich / research your data (Clay)
Everything else on top of this is excessive unless your revenue team is n the top 1%, has a massive budget, or has a very niche / obscure TAM where you need to do a lot of data manipulation.
There is way more delta to be found in finding ways to come up with better offers, and building better lists, than there is with the next crazy AI workflow setup.
The meat and potatoes is still the meat and potatoes.
Here is a client of ours we’ve generated 52 leads in the last 30 days with (all of them 7-figure deal value because of the sector of the company).

This campaign is nothing more than 1 personalized line, a very strong offer, to a good audience.
There is nothing fancy that we did with this and I would bet that it beats 95% of campaigns (even some of ours internally that we tried to do fancy stuff with).
You need to look closer at what you’re offering your prospects.
You need to look closer at the lists you’re building and who you’re sending messages to.
You need to look closer at your inbox health and your deliverability.
But you do not need to look closer at the next crazy AI workflow.
Keep it simple stupid :)
