Outbound is Going Omnichannel...
I think outbound is going omni-channel. Here's how our team at Breakout is planning to adapt.
We're planning to use Smartlead and Clay as our "data hubs."
Lists are built normally, and outbound campaigns are being run inside of Smartlead. This keeps everything centralized and easy to manage.
Positive replies get tagged by our inbox manager and are automatically zapped via webhook into a Clay table. At this stage, the person’s information is enriched with detailed company data, making follow-ups more targeted and effective.
This integration reduces manual work, ensures every lead gets the attention it deserves, and sets us up to craft tailored, high-quality touchpoints.
Using La Growth Machine for LinkedIn touchpoints.
Once that person gets sent to Clay, we’re automating their entry into an LGM sequence for a LinkedIn touchpoint. This allows us to seamlessly add a new layer of interaction to our outreach process.
A LinkedIn connection request or message triggered automatically after email outreach is extremely valuable—it provides a personal touch and reinforces our brand.
Bonus points if we’re actively posting relevant content on LinkedIn, as it strengthens credibility and gives prospects more reasons to engage with us.
Using Vector.co data to send to Clay.
When Vector identifies website visitors on our site, those visitors are automatically pushed to our internal Slack channels and added to a Clay table.
From there, a LinkedIn connection request and follow are initiated. This ensures that we’re engaging with high-intent leads as quickly as possible, capitalizing on their interest in real time.
Having this data readily accessible in Slack keeps our team aligned and allows us to respond collaboratively and efficiently.
I’m not the best when it comes to automation and sales tech, but I think this is a simple enough workflow to be pretty killer for touching multiple channels.
By combining email, LinkedIn, and website visitor data, we’re making our outreach more personal, efficient, and scalable. I think this will be killer in 2025.
Cheers ladies and gents,
Ryan @ Breakout
