How to Write Killer Outbound Copy For Dummies

how to continuously get COMPLIMENTS from your leads on how good your copy is

Here's the main approach we take to email copywriting when creating outbound campaigns:

"What can we say, mention, reference, or explain to make it so that it would be unreasonable for the recipient not to feel compelled to respond?"

This has WAY more to do than just the offer.

Too many people think they can throw a Hormozi-style risk reduction offer onto their service and have leads breaking down their door ready to buy.

But adding a "or you don't pay!" or a "and you don't pay until it works!" doesn't have the same effect over email as it used to.

For the screenshot attached to this post here is what we mentioned in the email to get them to respond like this:

1) This campaign is targeting companies in a certain area locally. We wanted to pull out city-specific elements as much as possible to really have that camaraderie that members of teams/ groups/cities can have

2) We used Clay to find out their company address and name a popular park in the city nearby. Everyone loves to dump on nonrelevant AI personalization and say that it "has to relate to your offer or it's a waste!"

Wrong.

This has cooked for us and most of our replies mention this somewhere in their response.

3) We make it blatantly obvious that this does not look like a traditional sales email. Targeting companies locally I wanted to keep that "authentic" feeling when someone reads this. We threw in plenty of ":)", "haha", and brackets breaking up proper sentence structure. Doing anything we can to make ourselves look like real human beings.

4) We finish it up by offering in-person meetings at one of the most popular coffee shops in the city as our CTA. Ties back to our idea of "hey we actually do live in this city" + in-person meetings are awesome. Do them when you can.

If you want to check out the entire script, shoot me a reply to this email and I’ll flip it over to you right away.

Hope this helps. Happy prospecting my friends.
