How to ACTUALLY Use AI in Your Outbound
ignore the linkedin slop - try this
My timeline has been flooded with talks about whether AI can completely take GTM roles now, and replace human-touch for a team's outbound process.
(I don't think it can yet - besides the point though).
With that said, here’s the main things we use AI for right now in our campaign process:
Here are the major things we use it for:
1) Market Research / ICP Building
We want to get the AI to try and pull out deep market insights specific to roles, job titles, etc. that we would have never thought of before.
This lets you create 1-1 personas in your messaging and have every point you make relate specifically to job titles pain points / struggles relating back to your offer.
The best example of this in action is a video from my friend Christian Plascencia, give this video a look to see the same process we use:

2) Messaging / Copy + Campaign Angles
This is probably what you're hearing the majority of buzz about using AI in outbound over the last 6+ months:
We probably use a process similar to what I just explained in ChatGPT, when we use in Clay’s Claygent tool for coming up with GTM strategy and messaging.
Web scraping prospect's websites, using Builtwith to find info on their tech stack, monitoring LinkedIn for job changes / updates, the list goes on.
All done within Clay, leveraging AI and other tech to craft out-of-this-world sales messages at scale (at least I'd like to think so).
Market research and unique copy angles are the 2 best ways to use AI in your outbound right now.
Let me know if this one is helpful.
Cheers,
Ryan
